Did you ever considered it?

Varies from drinking/ eating/ biting  : nails, dead skin, menstrual fluid/semen, placenta.

It's might be gross and taboo for some but normal for the other.

Nail/Hair


Wondered what's so addictive about nail biting, Onychophagia.

I have few friend which apparently cannot stop biting their nails. I mean their fingernails - who would bite their toenails. ;-P Noticed that all of them have sweaty hands. Like it's wet all the time.

I thought those who have this bad habit tend to be insecure. Is it?

Mom said I don't suck my thumb nor bite my finger when I was little. Glad to hear that :-D

How about eating your hair?

I'm not sure if this even real, I think it's just another prank of a bored troll who wants a little attention.

But I'll post it anyway.

Hair eating is called 'Trichophagia'.
It is considered a compulsive psychological disorder in the psychiatric field. Eaten hair will accumulate in the gastrointestinal tract (on occasion, and depending upon severity of symptoms) causing indigestion and stomach pain. 

A surgery might be needed to remove the hair stuck in the gastrointestinal tract. 


Menstrual fluid/ Semen


I wouldn't want to eat mine and date a girl who would. Ever! - sorry!

Eating the placenta is not a new practice in human beings. It has been a common practice in many countries.


Indonesia and the Czech Republic : it was once believed that eating the placenta would guarantee future fertility.


In China : it was believed that a bite of dried placenta would speed up labor. 
Also considered as a medicine, Zi He Che.

Hungarian women believed that if they burned the placenta and placed the ashes in their husbands’ drinks, he would not be able get them pregnant again. 


In the Ural Mountains in Russia, tribes considered the placenta a caretaker for the child and gave it a warm welcome.
